Victoria the T. rex

The Victoria the T. Rex exhibit is an exciting showcase of the fossil remains of a Tyrannosaurus rex discovered in December of 2013. The exhibit is named after the esteemed scientist who discovered the fossil, Victoria Arbour, and displays the specimen in a life-like pose, as if stalking prey.

Not only does the exhibit present the fascinating Victoria T. Rex fossil, but it also provides a wealth of information about T. Rex as a species, including its physical characteristics, behaviour, and habitat. Visitors can learn about the fossilization process and the discovery of the Victoria T. Rex, gaining insight into the scientific discoveries that have helped shape our understanding of these magnificent creatures.

I was responsible for the UI Design and Interaction Design for both experiences: Meet Victoria and See Victoria. Throughout the project, I worked closely with our UX Designer, Art Director, Animation Department, Producers, and Developers to ensure that the design was consistent across all the exhibits for the Victoria the T.rex. This collaboration ensured that the exhibit was both informative and engaging.
